TEENA TOLHOEK Success Story

For twenty years, I operated a medium business enterprise that involved designing a clothing range, manufacturing, wholesaling and also retailing. Although it was lots of hard work, it proved very successful, but times changed after the influx of cheap clothing from China, so I sold that business. Early in 2003, my new jobs (I had two) meant travelling many hours to and from the workplaces each day.

Once I was sure that DXN´s Ganoderma was a reliable product and the demand for it would continue to grow, a decision was made to promote it in a professional manner. Learning the DXN business plan and also studying everything available about how and why Ganoderma works in the body, it was then possible to begin conducting public meetings about it.

Another decision was made to open a DXN Service Centre to ease members´ access to the products. Australia after all is a wide-spread country. This was an immediate success and its business grew so fast that it became the busiest in Australia, winning the DXN award for the 'Highest Sales for the Year' after only 5 months. From the start, I worked diligently on the business, taking every opportunity to promote Ganoderma and its health benefits and making sure something was achieved everyday, keeping busy training and helping other members to achieve success too.

As a result of a positive attitude, continual improvement in knowledge plus hard work, success came, by becoming free to travel, with good income and the pleasure of helping others to enjoy good health and a quality life.

In July 2006, Australia´s First 'Crown Diamond' status was achieved, being proudly recognised on stage by Dr Rathna and Professor Vasupaliah, the First Crown Diamonds of India. In October/November 2006, I double qualified to attend the First TSI trip to Europe along with many other international qualifiers. Many good friendships were made and it was a wonderful experience had by all.

I have since achieved Senior Crown Diamond status. Thank you Datuk Dr. Lim and DXN, for providing quality products and a Business platform, so focused and innovative people have the best opportunity to build their business and take it to any level they desire.

THANK YOU DXN.

CHRIS MORRIS Success Story

Reaching the level of Crown Diamond brings a great sense of achievement for me on a personal level. Yet that is the least part of it.

Along the way, I have learned so much - about the wondrous workings of the human body and mind; about natural healing; about the great opportunities for travel and income this company can bring you; about the incredibly different cultures on our planet and yet the great similarities between us all; about friendship and sharing;but most of all, about the human need to help friends improve their lives, and about the tragedies that surround us daily in needless disease and suffering that could so readily be overcome with a little education and open-mindedness from the Establishment.

So I see the achievement as a beginning, not an end. From here I will use my knowledge to go on, and do my part in bringing these fantastic products to as many people as I can. I would love nothing more than to see many of you join me in achieving this level of Crown Diamond.

Top 12 Amazing Health Benefits Of Roselle | Better Than Green Tea

What is the Roselle Plant?

Hibiscus sabdariffa, or Roselle, is a shrub belonging to the Malvaceae family. In Iran, it is typically known as sour tea. In English-speaking countries, Roselle is called Red Sorrel. Originally from Africa and Carribean countries like West Indies, Trinidad and Tobago, it is now commonly cultivated in tropical and subtropical regions of the world particularly in India and Southeast Asia.

Roselle has been used as a therapeutic plant for centuries. Traditionally, it treats toothaches, urinary tract infections, colds, and even hangovers. In Senegal, roselle juice extracted from leaves is used to treat conjunctivitis and, when pulverized, soothes sores and ulcers.

One of the main reasons for the cultivation of roselle is to produce bast fibres which are extracted from the stem and are used as a substitute to jute. Hibiscus cannabinus is commonly cultivated in southern Asia for fibre extraction purposes.

Roselle is an easy to grow shrub and reaches tall heights. It can be easily identified with its bright red stems. It produces a lot of appealing flowers which have a distinctive look. And also, at every node, it produces a calyx. Fresh as well as dried calyces are an essential part and are used in food preparation.

Uses of the Roselle Plant

Roselle is an example of a plant that has many beneficial uses. The right person can use all its parts like the roselle calyces, leaves, stem, flower, etc for one purpose or the other. Some of these uses include:

Food

This plant is quite famous for its many and fleshy calyces. The fresh calyces of red roselle are used to produce a bright red-colored, nice-tasting drink called the roselle juice or flor de jamaica. Also, some folks use the leaves of the roselle in their salads. When the roselle leaves are used in salads, they add a taste that is akin to spicy spinach mixed with some sour fruitiness. These leaves always add an exciting flavor.

The dried calyces and as well as the dried flower is also used as an essential ingredient in various recipes.

Skincare

With a reputation for anti-aging properties, the roselle plant is quite popular in the beauty and skincare world. It has been used to make a face/body scrubs, facial steams, clay masks, etc. The roselle flowers are beneficial because of the antioxidants that they possess – these help to neutralize the effects of free radicals, and leaves you glowing with health.

The Respiratory System

How important is breathing? We eat, talk, walk, think and work everyday. All these activities or movements, be it simple or complicated, can only be done with so-called “burning energy” using food as source of energy and in the presence of oxygen that we breathe in. Oxygen get into our body through inhalation while carbon dioxide, a poisonous by-product produced from metabolism is eliminated from our body though exhalation.

The exchange of gases, which is vital for cells survival could not happen without proper function of the respiratory system. Respiratory system consists of the mouth, nose, throat, trachea, lungs, and diaphragm.

It is important to maintain a healthy respiratory system so we can breath properly and efficiently. Breathing supply cells with oxygen to repair, build, grow and reproduce.

Respiratory System Disorders

The respiratory system is a very important part of healthy daily living. This is where the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide occur. The lungs need to function well in order to maintain our good health.

Some common disorders of the respiratory system includes:
  1. Asthma. For asthmatic patients, their respiratory system airway is hypersensitive and when triggered, the airway constricts. The constricted airways interrupt the flow of air and cause trouble in breathing. Asthma attacks can be brought on by triggers, such as smoke of tobacco, factory fumes, cleaning solvents, infections, pollens, dust, certain foods such as shellfish, milk and peanuts, cold air, etc. However, triggers that initiate asthma attacks are highly individual.
  2. Acute Bronchitis. Acute bronchitis is caused by inflammation of the bronchial tubes, which is the primary airways to the lungs. The inflammation usually due to bacterial or viral infection. When the respiratory infection has weakened an individual’s resistance, the symptoms of bronchitis will appear such as coughing, shortness of breath, chest pain, increased mucus and fatigue. Acute bronchitis lasts from four to six weeks.
  3. Sinusitis. Sinuses are hollow air spaces in the bone behind your cheeks, eyebrows and jaw. They secrete mucus, a fluid that cleans bacteria and other particles out of the air you breathe in. Tiny hairs sweep mucus out of the sinuses to drain out through your nose. Sinusitis means the lining of sinuses are infected or inflamed. The congested sinus cavities lead to pain and inflammation. Acute sinusitis often starts as a cold, which then turns into a bacterial infection. Allergies, pollutants, nasal problems and certain diseases can also cause sinusitis.
  4. Pneumonia. Pneumonia is an infection of the lung, usually caused by a virus or bacteria infection. Three common causes are bacteria, viruses and fungi. You can also get pneumonia by accidentally inhaling a liquid or chemical. The most common type of pneumonia is pneumococcal pneumonia, a bacterial infection which accounts for up to a quarter of all pneumonia cases.
There is a mild type of pneumonia or it can require intensive-care hospitalization. The elderly and infant under 2 years old are especially vulnerable to pneumonia.

Wellness Tips For Respiratory System

No smoking
Enforce “No Smoking Policy” at home and work place. Avoid second-hand smoke as well.

Water
Drink at least 8 glasses of water daily, preferably lukewarm water, for cleansing and thinning the mucus in the passage of the respiratory airways.

Keep irritants at bay
Clean your home regularly to remove possible allergens such as dust, dust mites, pollen, etc. Maintain clean pillow, blankets and comforters.

Regular physical fitness or activities
Jogging, brisk walking, swimming, cycling, rope jumping, yoga and other aerobic exercises and physical activities can help make your heart and lung stronger and healthier.

Breathing
Yes, breathing, or more accurate, deep breathing by flexing your diaphragm rather than breathing shallowly by flexing your rib cage. It helps to fill the lung with fresh air, and eliminates air which is full of toxins and impurities out of the body.

Our recommendations:

Besides practicing the wellness tips above, include some health supplements into your daily diet works best to promote a healthy respiratory system. A good combination of the products listed below exerts synergistic effect in maintaining a strong respiratory system:

The Reproductive System

The major function of the human reproductive system is to produce offspring, ensure survival of the species and passing on hereditary traits from one generation to the next. The human reproductive system has four main functions: To produce egg cells (female) and sperm cells (male); to transport and sustain these cells; to nurture the developing offspring and to produce hormones.

The male reproductive system consists of a pair of testes and a network of excretory ducts, seminal vesicles, the prostate and the penis. The organs of the female reproductive system produce and sustain the female ovum, transport these cells to a site where the sperm fertilizes and provides a suitable environment for the developing fetus and produces the female sex hormones. The female reproductive system also includes the ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, vagina, accessory glands, and external genital organs.

Disorder of the Reproductive System

There are wide number of reproductive system disorders. A few examples are as follows:

Endometriosis
Endometriosis is a disorder of the female reproductive system. In endometriosis, the endometrium, which normally lines the uterus, grows in other places such as fallopian tubes, ovaries or the tissue lining the pelvis. This tissue thickens, breaks down and bleeds each month. Because there is nowhere for the blood from this displaced tissue to exit body, it becomes trapped and irritate the surrounding tissues.

Ovarian Cysts
Ovarian cysts are non cancerous sacs filled with fluid or semi-solid material in the ovary. Although they are common and generally harmless, they can become a problem if they grow very large. Large cysts tend to push on surrounding organs and may lead to abdominal pain. In most cases, cysts will disappear on their own and treatment is unnecessary.

Impotence
Impotence is a disorder of male reproductive system. When a man cannot get an erection to have sex or unable to keep an erection long enough to complete sexual intercourse, it is called erectile dysfunction or impotence. Some physical causes of erectile dysfunction include too much alcohol intake and tobacco abuse, brain or spinal-cord injuries, liver or kidney failure, Parkinson’s disease and stroke.

Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)
BPH is caused by enlargement of prostate gland, which normally happen on elderly men. This may result in obstruction of the neck of the bladder and impairing urination. As the urethra is squeezed more tightly by the enlarged prostate, the bladder may not be able to completely empty. The bladder dilates and the increased pressure is transmitted through the urethra to the kidney. This lead to damage and impaired function of the kidney

Sexually Transmitted Disease
Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are infections that can be transferred from one person to another through sexual contact. The causes of STDs are bacteria, parasites and viruses. There are more than 20 types of STDs, such as Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Herpes Simplex and Syphilis. Most STDs affect both men and women, but in many cases the health problems they cause can be more severe for women. If a pregnant woman has an STD, it can cause serious health problems for the baby.

Wellness Tips For Respiratory System

> Manage your stress wisely
Reproductive system especially female reproductive system is highly sensitive to hormonal change. Long term stress lead to hormonal imbalance and thus affect reproductive health system.

> Safe sex
Correct usage of latex condoms helps in reducing the risk of acquiring or spreading STDs.

> Quit smoking
Quit your smoking habit as there are many studies show that cigarette smoking is associated with erectile dysfunction.

> Control alcohol intake
Drink alcohol moderately whereas excessive consumption of alcohol is also one the possible causes of erectile dysfunction.

> Adopt a healthy diet
Take plenty of fresh vegetables and fruits daily. Control the intake of meat and poultry as the residue of antibiotic or synthetic hormone injected to accelerate the growth will affect hormonal balance in our body.

Our Recommendations

Regular consumption of health supplements below helps in promoting a healthy female reproductive system:
